If you know me than you know that I obsess over pictures. If you don't know me, I'm sorry, you should :) I literally take thousands of pictures each month. I love to put our pictures into things (collage prints, photo books, cards, prints, enlargements, etc). No exception is our annual holiday card. Well we had a sibling class at the hospital today and needless to say this little man is not ready for this.

He didn't want to hold the "Baby" (okay it was fake). Didn't want to look in the nursery. Didn't want to listen to the teacher. He did want to climb all over, turn on and off the fireplace (which WTF it was on in August I don't know), eat the treats, drink the juice, run away from me, discover the Nourishment Room (which thanks a fucking lot lady, now he won't do anything at the hospital except eat popsicles, ice cream and cookies), and ask the teacher when it was over. He did enjoy making a bib for the baby, he said this is really nice of me. Yeah pin a rose on your nose. So I figure in 7 1/2 weeks he is going to have a rude awakening and I don't quite know what to do about it.

I truely had the best holiday season. I went into the holidays with dread and fear. Last year was, well horrible, and this year was actually fun and enjoyable. I hope to post more on that later. Since I only have 20 days left to work...not that I am counting. Shit who I am kidding, I start counting the day I go back in August. My job is a way to earn money so I can stay home with my kids in the summer. I LOVE SUMMER. I turn into a worthless (okay more worthless) individual once summer vacation comes. We swim, play, go to the zoo, sometimes we don't even know what day it is-aahh! Okay, enough. We have been busy, really busy. We have the normal things like jobs and school. Then I have graduate school, camping-don't forget that Abby has dance & softball, Aron went to Texas to hunt, we sold Kathy's house and Porterman had surgery. Wow, that was just a month? Oh and don't forget the big bowling banquet. Throw in a holiday and call it good.

Friday we had dinner with Aron's dad, and the kids were fairly normal in the restaurant-which was great!

Saturday I had a dentist appointment, craft show at Millard West, Husker Game, and the Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift concert. I had way too much fun, that is all I will say. My sister and I went together...which is usually a recipe for disaster and this was no exception.

I saw the look of "oh shit, I am going to blow chunks" I ran to grab a towel and tried to put it under his mouth to catch the vomit and well he moved and hot vomit went all over my hands. I guess I have never had the opportunity to touch freshly spewed vomit before, but good lord it is burning hot. Poor dude, cried cause he made a mess. What a sweet boy. Fast forward 2 hours. "I pee." Okay, get the wipes, a diaper. Yeah you did pee, split pea poop. Holy cow. So that is my day, home from work with hot vomit and green pea poop. The only good thing...my bustling baby boy let me hold him all day long! Let's hope I don't get what he had! Oh and smelling dirty dishes, that is because the sink was (still is) backed up. Should be awesome since I have like 20 people coming over tomorrow night.
